Approved Wiring Methods
Underground conductors and cables shall be installed in raceways listed and approved for the purpose. Approved conduit types for direct burial or encased in concrete include Schedule 40 or 80 PVC, RMC, IMC, or HDPE, appropriate for the specific application and location. Protection from Physical Damage (Risers)
